אָס֥וּר בָּרְהָטִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

and the hair of your head [2]

is captivated by the tresses. [1]

אַהֲבָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בַּתַּֽעֲנוּגִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

and how lovely you are [2]
 
O love, [2]
in delights! [1]
8 זֹ֤את קֽוֹמָתֵךְ֙ [3] Pashta
דָּֽמְתָ֣ה לְתָמָ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
וְשָׁדַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
לְאַשְׁכֹּלֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 This your stature, [3]
it is like to a palm tree, [2]
 
and your breasts [2]
to (its) clusters. [1]
9 אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֶעֱלֶ֣ה בְתָמָ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
אֹֽחֲזָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּסַנְסִנָּ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
וְיִֽהְיוּ־נָ֤א שָׁדַ֙יִךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
כְּאֶשְׁכְּל֣וֹת הַגֶּ֔פֶן [2] Zaqef
 
וְרֵ֥יחַ אַפֵּ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
כַּתַּפּוּחִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

“I will climb up into the date palm, [2]
 
I will take hold [2]
of its fruit,” [1]
 
and may your breasts be [3 3]
like clusters of the vine, [2]
 
and the scent of your breath [2]

הוֹלֵ֥ךְ לְדוֹדִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לְמֵישָׁרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
דּוֹבֵ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
שִׂפְתֵ֥י יְשֵׁנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

is like the best wine [3]
which goes down for my beloved [2]
smoothly; [1]
 
flowing gently [2]
through the lips of those who sleep. [1]

תְּשׁוּקָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

let’s go out into the fields, [2]
 
let’s spend the night [2]
in the villages. [1]

אִם־פָּֽרְחָ֤ה הַגֶּ֙פֶן֙ [3 3] Pashta

הָרִמּוֹנִ֑ים [1] Etnachta

צָפַ֥נְתִּי לָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
